Ofsted visited us to carry out a short inspection of the College on 17^th and 18^th October 2023 and we were pleased with their judgement that whilst the school continues to be at least ‘Good’ there was evidence that suggested the school is now ‘Outstanding’.  Ofsted are due to return shortly to carry out a full inspection, where we are hoping the school will indeed be confirmed as outstanding.

The report recognised that the college has exceptionally high academic standards and this ethos is shared by pupils, staff and parents.  Inspectors also noted how well our staff know our pupils, that the children are proud to attend this school and that attendance is high (well above national and county averages) – they stated that pupils thrive at Chulmleigh College.  Examination results are consistently very high.
